What's The Most Potent Nutritional Combo Around?

Received this yesterday in my inbox. Thought I would share :)

The LIVESTRONG Foundation - a great cancer-awareness and fundraising group who we've worked with before - are trumpeting the powerful pairing of Ganoderma lucidum with Vitamin C as an essential part of your journey to healthier living!

Lance Armstrong's LIVESTRONG Foundation was founded with a simple purpose: to promote healthier living in general, and cancer awareness in specific. Now this charitable powerhouse is trumpeting the virtues of Ganoderma lucidum, the powerful herb that enriches every cup of Gano Life's unique products!

In a recent article posted on the LIVESTRONG blog, journalist and mind-body-spirit health advocate Heather Vale Goss discusses the benefits of Ganoderma lucidum in building a stronger, better you.

"Several companies are now offering [Ganoderma lucidum] as a dietary supplement, and even brewing it into 'healthy' coffee and tea," Vale Goss* writes. "But what are the benefits and possible side effects of taking this Asian fungus? It turns out the pros far outweigh the cons."

Vale Goss* covers a lot of ground us Gano Life fanatics already know, touting Ganoderma's positive effects on the immune system, its antioxidant-rich structure, positive effects on blood pressure and cholesterol, and its anti-allergen properties. But she makes two observations that really knocked our socks off, and we just had to share with you!

First, Vale Goss* tells us that pairing Ganoderma lucidum with Vitamin C boosts the powerful little mushroom's health-giving abilities into overdrive! She writes, "taking [Ganoderma lucidum] along with vitamin C, another antioxidant, helps the body absorb reishi's active ingredients by breaking down the complex polysaccarides into a more manageable size." Basically, Vitamin C spoon-feeds you all of Gano's good stuff in bite-size packets that'll make your whole body smile. Orange juice and Ganocafe for breakfast, anyone?

Vale Goss* also tells us that Ganoderma's benefits far outweigh its side-effects - independent verification of something we are Gano Excel have known for years now!

"Reishi is classified as a superior herb, which means it's non-toxic and can be taken in large quantities for a long time without adverse side effects," she writes, citing Ganoderma's 2,000+ years of use in Asia and its lack of contraindications with other treatments as proof.

So, what we've got with Vale Goss's* excellent summary is a total slam-dunk for Ganoderma lucidum! If they did brackets for health supplements like they're doing for the NCAA Championship, we'd totally be at the top! (Oh wait: they do, and we were!)

This great article as points further towards the power pairing of Gano Life and the LIVESTRONG Foundation. Like LIVESTRONG, our company is also dedicated to spreading the news about healthier living and raising awareness of important social and medical causes. Though we're not official partners with this fine organization, we have worked with LIVESTRONG before, helping to support their global LIVESTRONG Day campaign for cancer awareness, and will continue to offer our support to their cause in any way possible. Now that LIVESTRONG has been turned on to the benefits of Ganoderma lucidum, our missions are closer than ever!
